View all your notifications on one page

We will start collecting your events and displaying notifications only after you install Notification Center for Jira, so there may not be any notifications the first time you access it.

Go to Apps in your navigation sidebar, click Notification Center for Jira, and then open the Notification Center page. Here, you can view all your Jira notifications.

You can view notifications in a list sorted by time, from newest to oldest, with the exact action description and its timestamp on one centralised page.

If the notification is about a comment, the comment content is also displayed within the notification. You can reply to the comment directly from the Notification Center app - Directly reply to a comment in the Notification Center app .

For each notification, you can:

Mark it as read/unread,
Add or remove it from Starred,
Remove it.

Additionally, you can click ‘Mark all as read’ to mark all notifications on the page as read.

Turn on the ‘Only show unread’ toggle to display only unread notifications.

Click the ‘Refresh’ button to reload the data and show the latest notifications.

We’ve scheduled regular data cleanups. The Notification Center app displays notifications from the past 30 days only.

Smart Counters

Use smart counters to filter your Jira notifications and count the total number of notifications on them in between parentheses “()”.

There are 4 Smart Counters:

All: the total number of Jira notifications,
Watching: the total number of notifications related to work items you are watching or where you are the reporter,
Starred: the total number of notifications you have marked as starred,
Direct: The total number of notifications where you are directly mentioned or assigned to the work items.

View notification list in each counter: You can click a counter to view only the notifications belonging to that category.
